Summer School trips are scheduled every Wednesday afternoon, some extending to the evening where we may schedule out of town entertainment such as a theatre trip. Weekends are reserved for a variety of day trips and activities and of course time to explore the idyllic location of St Andrews. All summer school trips are designed to introduce students to Scotland’s culture, vibrant cities and breathtaking scenery while providing a fun-filled and well earned break from timetabled classes.
On Wednesdays students can choose from;
- Glamis Castle: Childhood home of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother and one of Scotland most beautiful Castles.
- The Scottish Deer Centre: A chance to see and interact with some of Scotland best loved wildlife. Students will have the opportunity to feed a bird of prey and some Scottish Deer.
- Sensation Science Centre: Explore over 80 hands on exhibits and discover more about your own DNA and fingerprints in exciting workshops.
- Elie Watersports: Go banana boating, kayaking, pedal boating and sailing.
- Edinburgh: visit Scotland's beautiful capital. Discover Edinburgh Castle, wander along Princes Street, home to some of Edinburgh's best shops, take an underground ghost tour and discover the city's haunted past.
- Glasgow: experience Scotland's 'city of culture and architecture', internationally renowned for its Victorian architecture and fantastic selection of museums and shops. Visit Scotland best loved gallery and museum.
